The department of Radiology is the most advanced department started in the year 2001 will all modalities including digital X-ray , 3D/4D ultrasound, 128 slice CT Scan and 1.5 tesls MRI.
The department caters to a large number of patients round the clock providing all emergency services at night.
The department started its PG course in 2009 with an initial intake of 2 PG’S. The department has grown since then and we now have an intake of 8 MD post graduates. The department library has all modern textbooks and has subscribed to many national and international journals.
We are regularly conducting CME and conferences. One which is worth highlighting was the 10 month long foetal Imaging course to help our young radiologists well versed in foetal medicine.
We have a full fledged Interventional Radiology Wing performing all complex interventions and cath lab procedures.Our effective teaching programme has ensured that our department has secured a lot of ranks in the RGUHS final MD exams year after year.We wish to expand further by adding a Foetal Medicine unit in our department soon.
